Ryan Millen is 3-for-3 as the fastest qualifier in the Spec Trophy Truck class this year in the Best in the Desert Series. With Vegas to Reno coming up in just a couple weeks he’s looking for a top qualifying spot again, this time in the Trick Truck Class.
After spending the last 3 years focusing on stage rally with a factory Toyota backing, Millen started the 2018 season piloting the Atkinson Toyota Spec TT qualifying 1st and finishing a solid 4th in class at the Parker 425. He continued his fastest qualifier streak at the Mint 400 but had a disappointing mechanical DNF. A last minute SilverState 300 entry made him 3-for-3 as the fastest qualifier and gave him a podium finish even with the motion sickness from the rough terrain. Now he’s partnering up for Vegas to Reno with the #19 Terrible Herbst Trick Truck.
Ryan will be qualifying the #19 TT and racing the first leg of the race. Stay tuned for Time Trials on Wednesday, August 15th followed by the 2018 Vegas to Reno on August 18th.
